ATV Update
Lake Moxie Campers Association
Summer Newsletter 2011
On May 29th we had our first meeting of the year with 16 in attendance. Upcoming elections were discussed and it was decided that at the June 26th meeting we were going to hold nominations for the upcoming 2 years.
A motion was made and approved to donate $200.00 to the Pine Tree Camp this year.
We have gotten a new order of t-shirts, sweatshirts and stickers and will have them available at the cookout and meetings or you can stop by the Greenleaf's camp when you see them there. One mile past Moxie Falls heading up to the Lake. (brown camp, green roof, a couple of cabins) Anyone who would like to add pictures to the club scrapbook, bring them to the cookout or meetings for Joyce to add to our collection.

We are having a cookout this year and it has been planned for Saturday, August 13th 12:00 noon at the Barnes's camp on Moxie Lake next to the dam. Everyone is invited to bring a pot luck dish such as a salad or dessert; we will supply the hamburgers and hotdogs. We did this two years ago, had a great turnout, and lots of fun. Please come join us.
We would like to welcome new members, Mike & Marie Johnson, to the club and to The Forks area.
We have 50 paid memberships and 2 business sponsors so far. July 1 was the renewal date for ATV Maine membership so we are sending in our dues for 2011 very soon. All the members names that have paid their 2011 dues will be sent to ATV Maine along with our club membership for individual membership, meaning you will receive their newsletter. Thank you all for your support of this club! (only 5 members in attendance at the June 26th meeting we did not even hold one, understandable, it was a rainy weekend.)
The next meeting will be August 14th 9:00 at The Forks Town Hall, and at that time nominations will be held for officers... Nominees must have been members in good standing of the club for 2 years to hold an office. We do have some great folks who have expressed interest in taking over the reins as Chris & David Greenleaf have decided not to run. Please come and support the club in any way you can at this very important meeting.
